Local ministry background:
Radka grew up in an atheistic family. She first heard the message of Jesus dying for her at a children’s Christian camp when she was 11 years old. At that camp, Radka gave her life to Jesus. Since then, she has been involved in the life of the church and is an active member of the church family. From the beginning, she has seen great purpose in working with children.

She joined the HY ministry in September 2021. She practiced under the supervision of experienced colleagues, passed the HY-workers’ exam in December 2021, and has been actively working with schools in her region since January 2022.
She offers the HY programs from the Ethical Workshop series of the certified organization called Hope4kids, and also bonding programs that help to get newly formed class groups off to a good start, for example, when moving to the second level of primary school.
Radka has already established cooperation with more than twenty schools and her ministry continues to develop promisingly.

She also keeps developing her professional skills in working with children in an online counselling service for children and young people.
She is also involved in running a leisure club for children focusing on Lego building sets and, in the preparation, and organization of children’s suburban camps.

More about programs

How she became a HY Worker:
At the end of her parental leave, Radka heard a lecture about the Ethical Workshops series and programs. She was so intrigued that she immediately signed up for the course, which she successfully completed in December 2021. This is how Radka became a HY Worker. She now offers to schools very high-quality programs on important topics that really speak to and touch children.

Radka herself says: “I see it as very important to pass on biblical values and attitudes to life to children. I also want to continue to work on establishing and deepening personal relationships so that children have the opportunity to discuss their problems with me if they want to. I desire to lead children to personal faith and conversion. I feel that my personal example in marriage and in the family is also very important.”

Program topics and resource:
Radka works under the auspices of the Christan organization called the Ethical Workshops. She uses its much-appreciated school programs with topics:

How are you?
We play together
Let’s be friends
How to protect yourself in dangerous situations?
How did I happen to be here?
How to be cool with siblings?
How to become a good friend?
How to have a nice relationship with parents?
How to overcome worries at school?
What to do with your appearance?
How to manage your money properly?
How to use IT and media correctly?

Life in the media jungle
Power of words
Friends
Family
Well-being and calm without tobacco
Image or character?
Money, money, money
Who am I?
Do you respect your body or do you abuse it?
On a wave of emotions
Prejudices
About old age merrily and gloomily
Sex, love and relationships
A moral maze
